Forrest Gump

This movie is about a simple man with good intentions but has a low I.Q. Forrest Gump is the man, who has to learn life the hard way and later joins army in Vietnam. Since his childhood, he had one close friend, Jenny Curran. The director, Robert Zemeckis, brings out the American history through the eyes of Forest Gump (Tom Hanks) who left Jenny for the army where he made friends too; Bubba and Dan. Jenny was lonely and lived a disillusioned life. As the story unfolds, the two will meet before the story ends. This movie is both dramatic and romantic genre.

This movie was produced by Paramount pictures in USA. The actual home release date was August 28th 2001. The Screenplay was written by Eric Sinise from the novel by Winston Groom. Some of the principal casts in the movie include:

The Da Vinci Code

Review
This movie is about a murder who is protected in the Louvre in Da Vinci paintings. This later lead to the mystery discovery of a religious secret society which could threat the strength of Christianity. Symbologist named Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) is thrown into the bizarre alongside other relatives (Sophie Neveu and granddaughter) who later get the clues of Da Vinci’s paintings. The director, Ron Howard, brings out this fiction story to become what many believe to be a story (to date).

Summary
Professor Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) is on a normal business duty when he is summed to the Louvre over a dead body found. This sets Langdon into the adventure which will be his greatest mystery in life.
After the long story line, Langdon is back in Paris and under normal shavings he cuts himself. The blood flowing into the sink reminds him of the followers of Rosse Line. That gives him the clue to realize that the Holy Grail is in the Louvre, buried. He then kneels above Magdalene’s tomb just like the Temlar Knights had done previously before him.

The movie was produced by Columbia Pictures, Skylark Productions, Image Entertainment and Government of Malta. A number of distributors were involved by Sony Pictures is the main.
The movie is based on the novel by Dan Brown and the screen play written by Akiva Goldsman.
The major stars in the movie are: Tom Hanks, Jean Reno, and Audrey Tautou. The movie has dozens of casts and the list is long.

The movie is popular globally and was nominated as the Best Original Score in 2007. Before and after that a couple of other awards have been awarded for various reason to each key player who saw the success of the project.
